BEXAR COUNTY – A group is rallying to get a gentleman again on his toes immediately after a fire wrecked his property in Southwest Bexar County.
Family of 64-year-previous Michael Barrington stated he experienced fallen on really hard occasions but is now still left with very little.
Allen Osch said his nephew, Michael, now lives in a tent, only ft absent from his previous household.
“I be concerned about no matter if I’m gonna discover him dead out listed here somewhere,” he stated.
Allen said the house was a protected haven for Michael, who had inherited the residence from his grandmother.
Michael was not able to continue to keep up with the payments and the property became all he had.
“Lights and water and things like that. He did not have something else,” Allen said.
Michael’s tale captured the attention of Melissa Longoria and quite a few other men and women. They commenced to share his journey on Facebook.
Since then, donations, like blankets, food, and water have come in.
“The intention finally is to shift forward. Aiding the gentleman create and rebuild,” said Longoria.
The team hopes to inevitably get Michael into a house. Tenya Stroud reported it was an intuition to assistance Michael.

Allen said he has hope his nephew will not be overlooked in his group.
